I agree with the 2 previous posts. To me it says business and not funky, skateboarding, young, etc... I'd incorporate a nice symbol instead maybe ala Element Skateboards http://www.elementskateboards.com/ or make it more "trashy" , "grungy" or go for something Hip Hop/street as skaters generally either listen to Hip Hop or Punk/rock

Maybe try to do some more research. Look up loads of other Skateboard companies to get a feel for the general style.
