I have a question, how do you do the half-tone gradient thing?

I bet there's an easier way, but this is my method:
-open a new Grayscale document and make a black to white gradient.
-change the mode to Bitmap... and use
300dpi (that's what i usually work at) resolution and
halftone screen... as the method. click ok.
-mess with the frequency settings to fit your piece, but keep the angle at 45 degrees, with a round shape. the greater the frequency, the smaller the dots.
-copy and paste the result back into your working document and add a color overlay (multiply or screen) and there you have it!
