Agilus,
I learned some tricks about generating ideas from some blog writers. Skelliewag.org is a good one. One great recomendation I got there was to generate a list of over 100 ideas for blog posts. This is what I've done for AiBURN. I've got a list of over 100 tutorial ideas. I also broke them down into sections and added in ideas for multi-post series. Try doing that and see if it helps. Even if a tutorial idea is beyond your skill level you could set a goal to learn that skill to then do a tutorial on. I'm working towards that myself.
Of course I continue to get inspired on the net or come up with better ideas from time to time. Though having written down that first 100 ideas means that I'm never stuck for an idea.
My problem now is trying to be professional enough to release 1 tutorial a week. So, I have a consistent amount of content to develop a community around. So far so good though. Thanks.
