Ok, I though it would be fun to see how you all deal with a little challenge. It's not a real "contest", there are no prizes, no "we'll pay you if we use it", nothing. Just an open thing for everyone to spill some creativity into. You can choose your own method, if you want to cut and glue manually, draw, make a vector, use photomanipulation or whatever. Using your own pictures is a plus, but if you want to use stock there are no rules against it. There are two "tasks", but you are free to choose one, or do both
The brief:
1)Everyone got a favorite CD, movie or book that inspires you and makes you feel better. Make a cover for it
2)I assume everyone here likes graphic design, but what does it mean to you? Make a poster for "Graphic Design Conference", it has to contain where it is, when it is and somehow illustrate what design is to you

I hope to see some great entries here, although there isn't a prize it can be a great "personal piece" to your portfolio, if you put some energy into it! Now go get inspired, dig up your creativity and make us drool!
