I usually go with godaddy...plus you can get their discount codes too, but i guess whats the main use of the site (personal portfolio or business type).
I bought a 3 year hosting plan for around $100US, looked for an 20% off discount code elsewhere. So that comes to about $2.22 per month for hosting.
