I've tried saving for web (in photoshop) in both .gif and .png but the irritating jagged edges does not seem to be disappearing. Help?

Edit: I just realised that the jagged edges is more obvious when viewed on my pc laptop compared to my macbook. Is there a way to minimise the difference?
Is it possible for you to post the original image and the jagged edges one? PNG supports full alpha transparency so you shouldn't get any jagged edges.
