I think you got a good thing going with the first, with the curve slightly resembling the curve you'd swing a golfclub. I think you should incorporate it more though, either so you see it's the curve of the swing or maybe incorporate it into the typography (if you look, the curve stops, then carries on with the 9). I'd also work abit more on the typography, but I guess you're not really done with that yet so
