It's really nearly impossible to critique if I don't know the subject matter or context. I will say though that, as a rule of thumb you want to limit the ammount of fonts you use on a flyer poster to no more than 2 or 3 at the most. And changing colors within the same line of type is a slippery slope.

For images, aim for profound or understated. try to say as much as you can with as little as possible. The more elements you add to a page , the more your information is lost. This is true with virtually all design regardless of media/dicipline.

Go for bold, simple and striking, or minimal and understated. See how that works for you.
