The camera isnt everything.
I actually am quite concerned about cameras these days.
From a kid who hardly has any money, just turning 18 and is going to college in a year's persective, $700 puts a huge hole in my pocket. But for what?
These new cameras, D60, Digital Rebels, etc, etc, etc...are only making the world of photography more frustrating. They are making them EASIER for beginners to use, and honestly that only makes it harder for ME to use.
Companies, are actually charging us EXTRA for manual shooting. This makes no sense. Wouldn't it be the thing that makes it easier (auto) be more expensive? It pisses me off how i cant even find a camera with manual focus under 300 bucks. It's just insanely annoying and i'm sick of it.
The new cameras produce OKAY images, there is still grain, and if you know how to use it you can make AMAZING photographs. But it IS possible to make amazing photos with the smaller, cheaper cameras. Honestly one can make great quality photos, maybe not for print of poster size, or huge prints, but for the web, online portfolios, etc.
I just dont understand why they are over pricing everything. I want just want a simple camera with at LEAST manual focus, and i gotta pay 600 bucks? thats bs, and its completely not fair at all.
haha so yeah, can't believe i wrote all this, but, i havent seen a good camera that is in the price range of a poorer person from downtown Philly who risks getting hit in the head by a bullet when he walks out the door.
