It'd be pretty fun. There wouldn't have to be prizes at first, at least I don't think so. We could do battles...
I was a member on another forum where they divided member's up into teams, based on color. So if you color was blue you would come up with a team name like "Blue Fire" or something like that. Then you'd battle another team. So like blue team would collaborate with each other, red team as well.
