General Rules

1. Treat everyone with respect.
2. No spamming the forums
3. No flooding forums with irrelevant messages or copies of message, etc.
4. Pricing discussions are prohibited. Read Why
5. No discussion or posting of illegal activates, files, images, etc. on the forums including, but not limited to, pirated software, viruses and adult or other illegal material.
6. No advertising. A link to your portfolio site in the appropriate forums and a signature link are acceptable, but please do not post affiliate or referral links or excessive links to your services or websites. If you receive advertising spam via private message please contact one of the administrators.
7. Please do not request free work from anyone on the forums.
8. If you are asked to cease posting any content or links deemed, illegal, offensive, objectionable or just in poor taste by the staff please comply immediately.

Posting Etiquette

1. Please only post in English
2. No offensive language or sexual references
3. Please attempt to use proper English. This includes spellchecking your posts, using punctuation marks, keeping “instant messenger speak” to a minimum ( ex: “ur” instead of your and “u” instead of you.)
4. Please format long posts using paragraphs, numbers and bullets if needed.
5. Do not post in ALL CAPS
6. Do not attack people personally; we want the forums to be a friendly and comfortable environment.
7. Please offer constructive criticism of design work and refrain from just saying “This Sucks!” We want this to be a place for people to learn from their peers.
8. Please do not ask the same question in multiple areas, pick the most appropriate location and stick with it.
9. Use descriptive subject titles. This will increase your changes of being helped.
10. In addition to descriptive titles, please be as informative as possible in regards to your issues so we can help you.
11. Search the forums before posting, you may find that your topics has already been discussed!
