Default small cross browser issues

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could help with some small problems I have with my webdesign.

I thought I had been ultra carefull rebuilding my portfolio site as I've come across cross browser issues before but..... guess what IE is playing up

please go to www.studio-four.co.uk and have a look.... in both firefox and safari my details email, phone no etc are spaced as required...however in IE it wants to join onto the main header....

I have had some guidance but didnt understand fully...

do I have to incoporate some code with a "+"

cheers guys

This is how it displays like in IE7. It looks like a white space issue. try white-space:nowrap; on your #nav ul

If that doesn't solve the issue I'll try to help you when I get home from work.

IE7 has full PNG support so that shouldn't cause any issues. IE6 doesn't though but you can fix that with an alpha transparency fix/hack (downside being that your code will not validate).

By the way you can have multiple IE's installed simultaneously.

IE is just a piece of shit in general. I don't understand why MS doesn't just fix it with some patches or something. CSS is such a great tool but the browser support just isn't there. Such a pain in the ass to have to hack away to get it working in IE. Boycot it I say!!
