Wink thinkin..

Hello

Im Thinking of starting up a wedding photograghy business and whilst this isnt a plea for work by any means i am just interested in peoples past experiences of the services you have recieved ..ie good, bad ,too pricey, value efor money for what you have recieved etc.

I am a brilliant photogragher have many years hobby experience and now i have the oppotunity to turn it to a profession. My business head has a narrow margin.

Thanks in advance

I don't have much experience with this but I will say if you have a solid portfolio website for your work I'm sure you will get tons of business online.

Cool usp.....

A good start for any business is to get your name out there in the market. Advertising yourself, with your USP as you’re for front. USP stands for unique selling point, which sets you apart from all your competition. Then find a decent good quality printer at reasonable prices. When I started out I found this new company Print24.co.uk which was very helpful for me, and very reliable.
Good luck

the wedding biz is rewarding in profit but stressful in lots of cases.

as long as your product is worth the money then it will hold up, and the best networking is your customers, so treat every one equal and the favour will be returned in numbers.

If I could I would easily give up my weekends to do it more but can't.

Also in terms of marketing, if you have a style, target those customers, no matter what not everyone is your customer but they have potential to be a customer.

Experience is the key to success, not just the photos.
