Greetings to all,
I'm a semi new user of photoshop, I know the basic but want to learn more. I've search around and have found an abundance of tutorial out there. I'm using photoshop CS3, in doing a tutorial making class menu bars, when I get to the point of using the rounded rectangle tool and make the bar, it isn't automatically selected and if I go to select on the menu bar there is no option to select that layer only select all. If I use the regular rectangle tool it will automatically select. Can anyone tell why the rounded rectangle doesn't auto select or why I can't select it. Any advice will be appreicated |

So you know how in the layers menu there is a little thumbnail of each layer? Go to you layer with your rounded rectangle and Command (control for PC) click on the thumbnail. It should auto-select whatever is on the layer.
