Exclamation Design Portfolio

I came across a job opening recently online for a local design firm. I submitted my coverletter/resume and portfolio samples via PDF. They called me back and asked if I could meet with their creative director. Of course I agreed...anyway. My interview is this coming Monday afternoon. I wanted to know everyone's thoughts and suggestions about how I should go about printing my portfolio samples for my book. They've seen the PDF work, now I have to bring my book. I've heard lots of different things over the years, now I want to hear yours.

I have mostly brand development/logos, a few print media related items, and the majority are websites. Should I try and print samples myself on my personal printer on such short notice? Should I take it to a local retail printing chain and pay the high price? How should I display the logos in my book? Print them on individual 8x10's?

Want to know everyone's thoughts, and how some of you have put together similar portfolios.

I would read these articles on this website by Petrula Vrontikis some of them are very helpful.

If you can get your work printed at a better quality place then I would do that instead of printing from home.

I can't really answer your display questions unfortunately cause I'm still thinking of how to do that myself, but i do know you should be able to talk about and answer questions about any piece and make sure to let them look at the portfolio don't try and flip through the pages yourself.

Keep good eye contact, sound enthusiastic and shake hands, and know who your employer is and why you want to work for them!
