Good interview, I even managed to stop the urge of closing the tab because of the "content-links" - how much money do you make off them?

Not enough to keep them up. I am trying them for the month to see what they can bring in, but so far it has been like $0.14. I am probably going to be getting rid of them at the end of March.

Thanks for the interview! yeah those content links are no good, you should def get rid of them =) I don't even use Adsense on my sites anymore. You don't want anything that could annoy readers.

Thx for looking out Gino. Adsense and the Content Links have always been a deal breaker.

They really are a nuisance at times, but when your site isn't very popular and you are not getting the advertising and sponsors yet it is a decent way to make a buck.

True, but what i started to realize was htat for blog every visitors is very important. A longtime subscriber is worth way more then a few Adesnes dollars. its ok to start out, but i would stick with Adsense and do like one good adsense ad on the site and then sign up with some affiliate programs and make commissions off that. Like recommending amazon.com books and such until you get sponsors.

Gino,
I actually just signed up for the amazon affiliates and plan on doing a review of a couple of books that I have read. I am going to wait til the end of the month though so that my testing periods are similiar...content ads for a month, amazon ads for a month...so on. Until I find the method that worked the best for me. Adam |

Good idea, let me know how that goes. I can tell you the amazon stuff doesnt make much money, but its better then other options.
