New You the Designer Logo
I want to create a new logo for my blog youthedesigner.com since I'm redoing the layout soon, but I'm so stuck on what to do.
Right now its a basic logotype thats a play on type anatomy, but I'm thinking of doing something different. Any thoughts, I could use some brainstorming help! |

you could get alyCe to do a Web 2.0 logo
 hehethere is a need for a new logo at YTD.com indeed, what about the man with the glasses, do something with him.?? just throwing it out there

i always thought the concept behind The Situation Room on CNN was great, but its execution turned it into something techno, jagged, and anxious.
what about creating typography combining serif and san-serif on the same characters? |

Yeah i was using him but i decided he was to cute looking. I wanted to go for a more serious look for my blog. ive ended up using a new theme and modifying it a bit for now. Eventually i will redesign the blog again from scratch and i need to create a solid logo, but its so hard to find time!

All right so i took the time to make some concept ideas. They suck, and if you dont like any of them thats okay. Since i am a beginner, i thought that maybe i could at least maybe possibly give it a shot and throw out some IDEAS, heck, maybe it'll give you an idea for the real thing. Constructive critiscism maybe? I need to learn.
Also, i did NOT focus on COLORS, as i am unsure of the colors you wish to use. I rather focused on word positioning. Anyway, hope i can help out, if i didnt, wel; then i just did some practice. I like number 5 the best. haha http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/7...esignerbc7.jpg |
