Default Question

Hey, I wasn't sure where to put this but I needed to know something. I remember reading in another thread that taking an image found on the web such as ( See Below ) and using it in a design without asking the photographer was illegal. Is there some way that I can use this general look without doing something illegal?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...pics_16045.jpg

Is it alright to take my own pictures of a plane and a person jumping and put them together in the same way, or is it the setup of the picture that I need to change.

I'm really confused on this topic, please help.

If I like the design that I create with it, the design would most likely be printed on a T-Shirt for my use only.

It would be fine for you to get a different plane + person flying and sticking them together but you would need to check out the legal crap again. Hmmm. Depending on where you got the picture, you could ask the original creator or whatevs. Make sure you get permission before doing anything large scale. If you are just printing one t-shirt for yourself, I would say you are pretty safe. But hey, you never know lol
