Google Analytics Anyone?

Does anyone here use Google Analytics for their sites (or sites they manage)? Just wondering what users think of it...

Google analytics is an important part of running a website. Anyone who owns a site should use Google analytics to monitor statistics and such!

I agree with you Gino. Google analitycs is a key element of running a succesful website

. It's really imporant to know how the traffic comes and goes. Not all the futures of Google Analitycs are truly useful, but overall, it's one important tool for every webmaster.

So I initiated GA about a week ago (my last post) then forgot about it. Checked it today, and I can't believe the level of detail you can get!

Obviously this is great from a marketing/content/structure analysis standpoint . . . that I knew going in.

But I was surprised by how much technical info you can gather: knowing what percent of your viewers are using which browsers, screen resolutions, color settings, Flash versions, etc. and how that affects their viewing tendencies . . . incredible.

Google really will take over the world someday. They know everything about us . . . and accessing that info is a breeze!
