Any rules of thumb you guys follow when displaying images (bg or otherwise) in Firefox?
My other images are displaying for me just fine (the ones I have in unordered lists), but I can't get the main logo (an important image!) to display. Wanted it to function as a text-replacing bg image, but I can't even get it to display when: 1) a linked image 2)image wrapped in a div 3) relatively-positioned element 4) attatched to an unlinked anchor 5) included in an unordered list. It's not even showing up when I turn off CSS display in my FF toolbar, so I believe it's beyond a CSS problem. Note: It displays fine in Safari in any and all of the above incarnations. Thoughts? |

THAT WAS IT!!!
Logo image was in CMYK . . . switched to RGB and it popped up in FF right away. Thank you both! You have no idea what I've been putting myself through for the past 36 hours trying to figure this out . . . I knew it was going to be something simple like that. Lesson learned: Firefox doesn't like CMYK images. |
