Hey guys,
I am very much of a design newbie and just started working with Photoshop after learning how to use AI in high school. So I thought it would be nice to (again) start a blog and came up with this design (I used to use the standard bogger.com desing :P): Version 1 Version 2 Its not quite finished yet, I have only been working on it for a few hours. I would love to get some 'early' feedback anyways. Thanks. Cheers. - Julian |

I think the boxes can be abit slimmer, but as a "just-starting-out-designer" then you show real talent! Love the palette too
![]() One thing you can try out is having the content of the right-hand boxes left-aligned. there isn't a right or wrong to this, but the layout will be a bit more "proffesional" and calm with everything facing left to right. This can work good together with the rough layout you've used to balance it out. Think about what the different alignments can mean and what you want it to express. Just be aware of the danger of boxing everything in, it can ruin the continuity of a design. best of luck ![]()

here ist another idea I just started toying around with:
Version 3 (early Beta) (note: the footer is not done yet and some of the spacing/alignment might not be 100% right) |

on the new beta, the bottom box doesn't have a bottom edge. And i gotta say, i still like #2 the best.
