I like it; simple, but accomplishes the mission. Nice work.

Sorry for being a nitpicker but the "designer" text is still blurry. I just think that with such a clean and simple design the elements have to be really crisp. I've made an example here. The font is Arial set to "sharp" anti aliasing

Also what is the reason for having the header as a background image?

Love your new portfolio pieces, good stuff!

this would be my only critique: have you thought about centering the 'c' in graphic? my first impression upon looking at it was that the 'c' seems to be floating in space. a little ungrounded. the 'graph' is centered within its red rectangle and 'designer' is centered as well. just an idea. overall i think it is excellent. well done.

on second thought i'm not sure. i think its good as is. the spacing between the letters is even, and the spacing between the left and right borders are even. good show.

Thanks for the input guys i truly appreciate it! I made my personal business cards just like the header except reduced in size and my resume is in the works as well.

I look forward to getting my cards printed and adding more work to my site.

Gino, what is everyone looking at? I can't see what the thread is about. Also, is this design forum limited to logos and other typographic-oriented design or are print ads that incorporate photographic elements also welcome in the critique?

Hey Steve you can post a thread showcasing any piece of graphic design or digital artwork you want whether its type based, photo based, illustration based or whatever.

If its your work you want critiqued then make a new thread in the graphic design critiques forum and if its some one else's work you like and want to showcase then make a thread in the graphic design showcase forum.

Members are critiquing my portfolio site design in this thread which you can find by going to this URL:

Default Thanks Gino!

Although I'm very much into type, my interests lately have gravitated to a working partnership with a long-time friend (20 yrs.) and collaborator who is a commercial photographer. In addition, I'm function as producer for his assignments. It's some seriously cool imagery.
