Default Your opinion...

Hi!

My first post here.

I designed a logo for myself using Phantasmagoria as my id.

The work that I do is mostly digital imaging/photomanipulation (will post them soon!)

Tell me what you think.

It looks nice, very simple, which is good. Try disconnecting the P and the h though, it looks kinda weird.

Or move them closer together so that the H starts from the endingpoint of the P... Try both.

I really, really like it. Maybe a bit too much detail on the butterfly, try making it even simpler.

What font is it? I want it. Is the G like that, or have you manipulated it? Looks awesome, so pretty.

Thanks all for the comment. I edited the logo and this is how it looks like now. I have seperated the P with the h as i have decided it to be an independent element.

Awesome, MUCH better, but may we see it with the P connected properly to the H too? Because now I feel like it's not connected at all, really. Maybe just me?

Default Logo Designing

I liked your concept and idea for this logo but i have a feeling i have seen such logo for some other company as well. I hope you have designed this logo after taking an inspiration from any logo but not copying it directly.
Lately, i came across an interesting article which blamed designers for not coming up with creative ideas, hav a look:

Inspiration did not come from any other logo, it was totally spontaneous and imaginative and I would say it is 100% original, even if there is a logo which looks similar. I will never change it simply because of that. Cheers

How about having something abit more tangible than "i have the feeling i have seen" before you start throwing about some pretty serious accusations?
