Here's a poster I did today for a student club's speaker series. The posters are posted around a college campus along with literally hundreds of other posters, so I try to make them visually interesting somehow to get people's attention.
What do you guys think? Is it effective? |

I think it is, You have a clear hierarchy of information, with posters I'm told its important to work from different distances which is why most posters have a large title to draw in people from a distance as you have and then the other information for when you get closer.
All the information is clearly organized, and there a way for people to get further information. I also like the overall design of the poster. |

I really like that. Great design and very effective. I think maybe you could make the title stand out even more with another color? It still looks very cool as it is now though.

Yeah, I agree about the title. I like the faded printing on the folder effect, but as far as effectiveness, it should probably be a bit higher contrast. Thanks for the feedback!

If you're putting this on a cluttered billboard/kiosk, might the "metaposter" approach just act like camouflage?
Standing alone it looks great, though. Very well done. |

But Distill makes a great point: consider its eventual context. Do you think it'd get lost among tons of small and big flyers? |

Great comments. It's hard to get good feedback as a freelancer sometimes. |
