Indeed, agreed on all points

What I was trying to say was that, if you are designing something, why not put your heart and sould into it? Because these icons are all very well made, and you are no doubt a good designer, which just adds to the "frustration" that you made these icons so safe. I'm not trying to butcher you here, but offer some constructive advice. break some rules, go off the grid, do something new, fresh.

Thanks guys for all of your opinions. I am not upset or angry with anything anyone had to say. I will definately take them into consideration as I work on creating more icons in the future. I do have another set I am planning on making, but not untill I get a larger set of these done first.

I agree the silk set is amazing and without a doubt the original idea and pretty much comprehensive for any use you might have. In fact I often use them in my own applications. If I get around to it I will try to post a new icon for you guys to look at and critique it style.
