I revamped my personal identity system a bit. Here is the business card so far, and I'm going to be adjusting my website and doing a letterhead, resume, envelope and tear sheet. lemme know what you guys think.
Ignore the inconsistency in the diagonal line i wanted a nice thin line but it doesn't reproduce well as low res for the web, not much i can do about it. The bold font is Century Gothic bold italics and the other font is Helvetica Neue. ![]() ![]() |

I'm a big fan of Century Gothic, but I once learned that elements that belong to each other should not be placed further from each other than the elements width. (I really can't explain this good enough in English. Sorry about that)
I would've tried a little less spacing of the letters.

I'm not sure yet, I have to research some printers. What would you do to print the cards?

I think screen printing would be nice! It has a more tactile feel compared to the othere methods (and its cheaper). select the coloured paper and screen print!
I like the Letterehead it looks real classy. Check out these identity works, it will help ! - http://www.graphic-exchange.com/03identity.htm. |

I think it works on the business-card, not so shure about the letterhead though. On the business-card it serves a purpose, I don't feel there is a purpose to it on the letterhead (but I could be wrong). So all things concidered I'd say several thumbs up ^_^

Yeah i was thinking on the business card it was more important to stress graphic designer, but on my letterhead it would be more important to show my name so they remember me, but i didn't want to use the diagonal to replace a letter on my name because they might get my name wrong if they dont catch the use of the diagonal as an i.
I figure i'd attach my card to the resume whenever I hand it in, Ill see what some other people think about that, thanks guys! |

The two sided business card is great, but I think it is important to put what you do on both sides. Alot of people still don't recognize that business cards are two sided, and if they look at the wrong side the may just discard it without flipping it over to see what you do.
