Hey there

In one of my current units for my graphic design course, I have to create a magazine advert, one page, for the 'Adicolor' shoe.

I've began by introduced a lot of colour into the design to show off the colour changing feature of the shoe and used a lot of whitespace to link back to the idea the shoe is very basic and white with only a small part of it using colour.

A vector style was used to show how simple the shoe is

Any ideas for improvement and comments would be really appreciated

I think the concept is great, but I think the shoelaces that turn into the symbol up top need some work, I think the thinnest shoe lace is too think and I think the biggest one is too big and doesn't seem to be coming from any of the laces.

So I would play around with the laces transitioning into the symbol some more.

Great creativity on this one. Gino made some good points regarding the shoelaces.

Other than that, I believe this is pretty good and has some good potential. Granted, it still needs much work, as you probably already know. But you are on the right track.

Ahh, they aren't shoe laces. I'll have to change them though because they do look like shoe laces.
