I'm working on this site at the moment for a Danish Photojournalist. I might sort out a better logo/identity, not really sure about the current logo. I want it to be easy to navigate and put focus on the content with a simple and minimalistic approach.

The "Series" section doesn't work yet. Anyways, let me know what you think..

Looks very good and I really like the logo, nothing I would change
It's a nice and simple design, as you aimed for and lovely color scheme. Good work!

Only thing is, that your positioning on the site is a bit off on your frontpage. It jumps a little to the right, when I navigate to other sections. Oh and on my 19" widescreen, I need to scroll a little to read the footer.

Cheers for the feedback mate. Much appreciated! The front is in the same place as the rest here. It wouldn't be because you get scrollbars on the other pages and not on the front?

I'll try to make it smaller, at least the front, so that you can see the footer in all resolutions. The other sections will expand vertically as more content is added though.

Thanks for pointing that out. Haven't tested it in anything else than IE7 and Firefox yet. Will run it through Browsercam before launching, to make sure it works in all resolutions/browsers. Yeah Lightbox is quite limited, I just don't know how else to do it as my Javascript skills are very basic. Might see if I can get a Flash Dude from work to do a cool gallery thingie for a few pints of lager

My only real problem with the site, and this is because I'm picky about this stuff, is the spacing at the bottom of the menu items is larger than the top. Whether this is intentional I don't know.

Usually equal spacing works a lot better, and I remember reading about how the mind subconciously takes note of alignment and correct spacign etc.

Other than that I like it. It's simple which allows the photographs to do the talking. It definitely gives off a professional vibe.

Thanks! Yeah it's meant to be in the middle. Just f*cking around with it at the moment to get it to be vertically aligned to the middle in all browsers.

Ah yea, doh. It is because of a scrollbar on the frontpage. Well, there is alot of alternatives to lightbox, I can list some of them tomorrow, if you like.

Hehe. I spent about 2-3 hours messing around with the code of a site once because I couldn't understand why the hell it was moving to the left until I figured out it was the scrollbar

Yeah that would be great if you could list some alternatives. Thanks!
