Hello Everyone,

I am in the proccess of designing my site but its just an image right now. I have not coded it or anything. So I just want to get your guys input on the design.

I think its a great start.

For the logo i think i would use a different font to spell out all the text, but the double k symbol is ok.

I think the k's in th header could use some more work and not sure about the orange color.

I think you could ditch that entire welcome bar /text and it would clean up the site a bit!

Hi Gino,

For the logo what font do you recommend to spell out all the text?

Double Ks; What do you mean by extra work? Just not sure.

That bar I used it for to state what page the user could be on!

I think this has potential, but it could have been so much better with a few adjustments:

- Remove the welcome bar
- The gradient is kind of ugly. Try another color than orange. I feel it's a bit to simular to your light gray background
- Reduce the borders around the menu and footer. It would be better with 1-2px.
- Drop the whole welcome page. Combine profile with an excerpt from services and Creations your home page.
- Services - Creations - Contact - Blog. You must devide your buisiness from things like you blog. I would also remove the profile section.
- Try to get in some images and stuff. This looks very clean.

Good luck. Much potential, but I feel it's not working as it is.

buuut anyhow, I like it in a "visual, template"kind of way, but for a personal portfolio it's too generic imo. it's nice and all but it needs to show more of YOU! It's you that you're selling, don't overdesign it but spill some personal "branding" into it. I like the color-scheme you're working with though, not many design-sites who 'dares' using browns and earth-colours, cudos for that ^_^ good luck, hope you'll keep us updated =)

Hello all,

I really liked you inputs. But Here is my reasoning between the stuff you mentioned. Before i do that; I did a redesigned of the site. I didn't like the orange that Sono mentioned it was just weird looking. The new image is uploaded on the first post. Didn't want to post two images take up the whole page.

First; I totally got rid of the welcome bar, I see your point. Finally for the main navigation I have a Profile page which is about me; for that page that state what I have been doing and what I can do. Creations is my work sample page; Services is stuff that I offer with a estimate calculator. If you have anything else that you may think I should do or what not please say what ever it is?

Please comment on the new design! I am very paranoid with my design for myself for others its a different story. I do notknow why!

Dang. Never got to see the old one.

This new one however looks pretty good. I like the wood-ish background gradient. It goes with the color scheme you have. The logo looks alright but could still use work.

The only weird part is the bottom. That dark blueish green box. Why is it there? It looks out of place.
Other than that.

When you mean the logo looks alright and it needs work; what exactly are you talking about?

A for the weird bottom dark blueish green box that is the footer; I wasn't sure what to do with that area like what color or what not. Any suggestions?
