Nice bro, except at some point, the users just going to fall asleep of the black and white. Aarlev's suggestion of the color rollover was awesome, but if you can't do that, I just think you should highlight some really catching object in each picture. Just would make the work stick out that much more.

Good luck and good work.

Edit: Oh, and

never hurt. =D

Thanks guys you nailed it. I had a portfolio review today in class and they all mentioned i should switch to color. they also suggested better cropping of my images, more work and some other minor things.

I'm also going to organize my work into print, web and identity categories to keep it organized and rewrite the text at the bottom which was rushed yes!

Thanks for the great tips all. Will update you soon.

I started writing my critique before I made it to page 2 of the forums so I don't have as much to add. This really summed up what I was going to say.

I do have to add that at first I was a little confused with what was going on, but the will be change when you seperate the content into categories. I might also suggest that you put the headings above the images so the I know what I am looking at before I look at it.

Black portfolio sites can be a little depressing as well. I like neutral colors that are inviting, but to each his own.

In any way the design is very good and you have in class I am sure exceeded expectations as usual.

I think I'd like to se this site centered. You should also be thinking on increasing the menu's font size. It's kind of hard to see, and I noticed it first at the second look.

I'm agreeing with everyone's input - simple and professional. Only niggle is that the comments about initial confusion are true, maybe some extra spacing between each piece would give the eyes something to hook on to.

My major concern is the need to centre - not an issue for everyone, but I either work on a widescreen laptop or the computer through my HD LCD on the wall (also widescreen); when I view the page there's a hell of a lot of block black left after the content stops!

I would hade cut of the 100px i height over your logo. Whitespace is nice, but it's better used on the content.
