Critique please!

I think I would change the green, hard to read. Links at the top doesnt make sense doesnt flow, looks seperate from the page. The backgroud doesnt suite the content layout, maybe something less noisy.
Now, the page is not bad looking at all, just needs some re-working thats all, its comes out better once you look at it a new way. |

The sign in the corner looks a little LQ to me. Other than that its fine.

Looks pretty solid to me only thing I'm not feelin is the BG pattern, maybe try a really dark color as the bg or something cleaner like a very light gradient or just white.

I actually think the bg is very fitting--gritty and rough, for what appears to be an outdoor recreation store. My critique on the bg is that the pure white boxes, then, aren't really "floating", yet they're not really solidly defined (an odd limbo).
Try either better defining the edges around the main content section/logo, or making them transparent altogether (which might cause your text to become illegible, be warned). Otherwise, just darkening the bg image a few shades, giving it a different hue, etc. could do wonders. The layout looks good overall! Great job. |
