CD cover

I am designing this for a school project. It is a CD cover for a christian rock band. Let me know what you think.

Very nice. The font-face fits this cover, but I'm not sure I like the glow around the text.

I think it looks like you have found a nice image, added some text, and then just diden't bothered to think about the background behind the text. (Note that I don't think you've acctually done it. Just to describe that you need more work on the text background.

)

Look at the glow at the left hand side. The text is placed outside it, but not on the other side.

This can be very nice. Keep up your great work!

is it me or does the beginning of 'satellite' curve upwards?

i like the metallic/shiny/glowy concept, but i don't quite think you pulled it off... i think individually your elements are good (except for the text curve) but they just don't blend together. like your text glow doesn't match up, and are the shiny reflections going off the text/design? almost seems like a green relfection is coming off the ferns at the right of the text.

btw, are you an Arrested Development fan? or is that a crazy coincidence.

I like it a lot im not sure about the glow around the text though, maybe the text doesn't need that border around it

first i have to say, i love the vectors..

but
i agree with the others: the glow looks a bit wacky...

oh, and i'm not sure about the background, it's a bit too bumpy for me...

nice work...
