Hey folks, I've been trying to come up with a logo for the toughest client in the world, myself. I'm quite happy with this and I don't think I'll make any major changes, although I'll probably change my mind in a couple of days when you guys have slagged it off..hehe. I wanted it to be modern and clean and represent me as a designer (not that I'm particularly clean, but I'm very modern ).

I'm not so sure about the typography and the placement of the actual logo so I'd love to hear some suggestions from all you wonderful designers.

The design is definitely sharp but everytime I look at it I see an M and I'm just like... What is the M for?

As for placement I think they both work so idk. :-X

As for fonts I like the font of your name the way it is but I think the bottom font could be a little less thin. Not F A T just less thin.

The way it is right now it is still pretty clean.

Just as a general question. What do most people use as a title. On my old business cards I just put "graphic designer" and say that pretty much covers everything. I've been thinking about skipping the title and being like MEDIAMISFT - Design Solutions. I don't know. Thought?

Looks very good, but I see an M shaped Transformers logo. I'm also wondering what the symbol is supposed to mean

I'm sad to say that I have to second the transformers-comment.
I'm not that into the condensed type in your title either, but that could just be me

Thanks for the comments guys. Hehe, I guess I have to try and minimize the Transformers feel as I don't really want to be associated with Transformers It's not supposed to say anything, just some kind of symbol. It started off as an 'S' actually but then it evolved into this Transformers type thing. Hmm..guess I need to work on this and play with the typography a bit more.

Good start, I hope you dont mind that I played around with it to better explain my thoughts.

Here, I have just flipped it upside down, and added some color. Whole new effect.

Here, I moved things abit round on the original, and again added some color.

There's tons of things you could do from that one, just play around with the shapes you have, and try not to have it solid black, because that gives a kind of military feeling.
