What do you think of this design I am trying to sell? What can I improve on and what is good?

The two things I would improve are:

1. The chat bubble behind the logo looks stretched out and I'm not even sure you need it.

2. I'd work on the buttons a bit I think you could get rid of the drop shadow behind them they are a bit dramatic.

Other then those two things, I think its really going in the right direction!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Does anybody else have an opinion? I will do a review of any of your designs....

Same thing that Gino said, but maybe you should make the stripes less prominent on top. Perhaps just lower the opacity.

If you feel like reviewing anything, you can let me know what you think of elitebydesign.com

That is a serious color palette and it works in a way, as it grabs the viewers attention. White text on such a powerful palette can be annoying to the viewer so far as eye strain. However if this is a single page portal then I see no problem. I am with everyone else with the quote bubble, it references that the quote has a source from some where to the left. Now this would work if the site weren't so straight forward. Possibly having it flipped to the other side and directed towards the main content would be more aesthetically pleasing. I like the feel of it as a single portal page though solid approach.

Its a really good design IMO. But, i think that the buttons could be better. Everything is really good - but the buttons could use a touch

There is just one thing I don't understand about this design. It's very "in-your-face!", so why have you chosen to have the input-text so small. I'd say either pump that up or at least make it aligned properly, because now it clinches the bottom of the text-boxt and barely uses half of it.

Also, I'd say if this is a template then drop the google ad. I wouldn't use (much less buy) a template where the first thing that catched my eye was an ad. The ad is much louder than even the logo, which of course isn't really a good thing. Think about where you look first, follow your eye.

I agree with alyCe on the Google Ad. It's very overpowering. Also another thing. The stripes in the top don't tile correctly. You can make the bgtile.gif alot smaller as well. This is a great tool for stripes if you dont feel like doing them manually in photoshop or just to see where you have to cut them so they tile correctly.
