Default Brainy Logo

I'm working on creating a logo for this company, however they don't want to use a brain logo of any sort. It's an international technical/software solution company. I put this together using the globe-light bulb concept. Is it working? and does it portray the right message? I crave your input.

I think its a good start, but looks a little complicated. I also like to work at a smaller size cause a good test for logos is to see if they work well small.

I would try and simplify it explore some more ideas.

i agree. simplify it even more -- try it without the 3d realism. see if it works as vector art. then it's a great logo.

for the first one, i like the concept of the earthlightbulb, but you're overcomplicating everything by the gradients, glows, etc.

btw, i think i asked this in another one of your posts but can't remember if you answered: nbluth, is that your name or a reference to Arrested Development, the TV show?

Haha. Yeah, that's really my name. Too bad they cancelled Arrested Development. My uncle's name is Mike Bluth.
