I really feel that there are too many things here. RJ45 connectors, discs, streaks, heat sink, wires etc. And the word technology seems very out of sync with everything. Also it is too bright for eyes I believe. I am sure you can do a lot better. Would love to see a new version soon here.

All the best !!!

Yeah i agree simplify the design and tone down the brightness mabey a little.
mabey just 1 or 2 CDs and a little blur on the streaks to soften them. I think you've got all the elements there...

I think it looks good, I would only change the font, I dont think it fits in.. its supposed to be a collage, and for that to work you have to have many elements.

"Too much of a good thing, is simply wonderful"
-Don't remember who said it

First of all, the font doesn't fit, neither the typeface, placement or color.
Also, your composition lacks one very fundemental thing: contrast. It's just a blur of objects with blending modes, and the composition ends up very bright and messy. Try to obtain more contrast and you can see that you can put endless of mess and crap into a picture and it can (can, not will) look good

only thing i don't like is the type, and the coil in the bottom right.

type has already been said...

but the coil looks rlly badly been cut out, try using pen tool to cut out stuff usually leaves things much smoother

Whoo! Lots of comments.

@leon I will try to tone it down and get a new version out as soon as possible.

@ soul I WILL blur a bit =D

@Staur I will change the font but do you have any recommendations?

@AlyCe I will try and add more contrast to it. And yeah, I agree, It is VERY bright haha.

@ ashiskewl I did cut out the coil at the bottom with pen tool, but it was late and I wanted to get it done so yeah. Also it is very high resolution/big picture, so you probably wouldn't even have noticed it if it was a smaller size =D.

Thanks for all of your input!

I am going camping this weekend and I will be back Sunday noon-ish, so I will work on it when I get back.

Again, Thanks for all of the speedy comments! Be sure to check out my new sig/ava, you will see my new logo!

All the best~

try looking at dafont.com and on the technology section. might find something there.. p.s I dont think its a good idea to make the type follow the light lines in the picture..

It's good Chris but you can make it a lot better by really working on the typography which can make or break a piece. Also try to create a focal point and some whitespace. It's very busy now. Perhaps use the RJ-45 connector as your focal point and then tone everything else down. Keep up the good work Chris. You have drive and passion and you're open to feedback and those are the most important things in becoming a better designer.
