Default Graffiti !

Just tried out some new techniques i guess you would call them that. It is very bad, I know, but I like the look of graffiti I have seen on this board and others. Wanted to test my hand at it. I will get better. C&C is appreciated. Thanks.

PS 700th THREAD!!! WOO WOOO!

hey dude.

not a bad go! I think the colours are a bit clashing but dont worry - we all started writing one day..

remember to develop your own style in graf - its better to go your own way in expressing yourself than folowing the rest thats the whole idea! Not saying you are -just go graf from the heart and soul - inspiration fom others is great but remember to keep your own flair to the work!

I really look forward to seeing more of your stuff dude!

Take it easy

Adam

uhum! It's ardcor lol.

I design my letters in flash, which you can get as a trial then import into cinema 4d as an AI because illustrator doesnt like me. I can just suggest learning manipulating exsisting type in photoshop and using the warp tool and what not. its a progress thing, if u have any specific q's im happy to answer!

adobe flash cs3 correct? I have that. But I don't have Cinema4d or Illustrator yet. Will probably "download" them in the future. Sorry for messing up your name ardcor but you are very "h"ardcor"e". Haha

Thanks,

~chris

If you want to get better at graffiti I would recommend grabbing a good old pen and some paper. Then practice for a few years. Especially for handstyles (tags) it takes years of practice to get a good flow like Bates handstyle here for example. Look at what masters like Bates, Revok, Rime, Seen, Daim (to name a few) are doing and how they structure their letters (but never ever copy their style). Start by doing simple block letters to fully understand the structure and then later move on to more advanced styles like wildstyle or 3D if that's your bag. Try to develop your own style as it's a must to have an original style in graffiti.

Here's a little bit of inspiration for you..
