Cool idea! I think it might help if you turned the opacity to 100% or did something to the color didnt layover like that. Nice job though.

the opacity is like that is because we were trying to imitate another style that an illustrator uses "Peter Sinclair". He does a lot of transparency looking paper stuff like that.

it was for an editorial and the story was about how this guy was cooking in a kitchen when he had a kitchen fire and the only thing in reach to put it out with was a pair of his grandmas underpants

How was this made it almost looks like cut out material scanned in or was this done in photoshop or illustrator?
