I critique hard, so sorry...haha
Anyways I don't really see how this could work for a t-shirt. Not exaclty the right kind of print for a shit design. The text is a little hard to read with the color variations on white behind it (maybe a different type face would work better, something bolder). Also not sure where the direction is coming from. Looks more like broken glass rather then the elements. The colors don't even match the elements. There are some blues, greens, and I guess brown. But nothing distinct (not sure if that's what you were going for). Sorry if I seem harsh. Keep working. Last edited by infektsu : 05-16-2008 at 04:43 PM. |

When making t-shirts, first design it with one color, and then expand outwards. Right now, there are a lot of colors there for little reason, if you know what I mean. Every color and object should be a necessity and should help portray what the shirt is trying to show the viewer. Sorry if I am kind of confusing.
Anyways, Keep up the good work! ~chris |

i would have to agree, i don't see how this would work as a t-shirt.
first of all, it is a lovely graphic, but it's more something you'd see on a poster or a web layout. the font you chose bothers me a little, there something about it that doesn't match well with the image. i also think the graphic looks more like something sci-fi or something intergalactic than natural forms and elements. if you were to make a tshirt about the elements, perhaps choose something simple rather than going abstract. were you planning on screen printing your t-shirts? it's best to put all colours on a seperate layer, and the more colours you choose the more it will cost you. but i'll say it again, the graphic looks great, i wish i knew how to make things like that! |

i have to agree this would not work on a shirt and the type you choose doesnt work well you should try to make things with defined shape and not as much text the picture should do the talking thats what i do when i design shirts. hope this helps in your future designs.

I agree, yeah yeah yeah.
But to me, the text behind element, is a little weird. I think maybe you should try only having one layer of text, and see how that works out. Otherwise, very nice design, maybe not for a t-shirt though! Unless, of course, you wanted an iron-on. |

Wow, that's a really cool effect. If you don't mind me asking, how did you achieve those effects? If it's outside of Photoshop, don't bother, lol.
The text (Element) with it repeating in the back, I am not very fond of. Maybe lower the opacity of them? It seems as if the text is of low resolution or something. Did you change the texts anti aliasing to smooth or leave it at none? If it's at none it usually produces what your text looks like now.
