Strangely enough I was thinking about setting up an Illustrator based tutorial site. In my research I came across AiBurn, so I guess I could contribute to your site and save me the work of setting one up myself!

I spotted that post on GoMediaZine recently, I'm really looking forward to the series having only dabbled a little in Drupal previously.

Yeah, thanks for this. Illustrator is a program I really want to get better at so I desperately need good tutorials for it. Great and really well designed site also!

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I was on vacation in Aruba and then I had to get caught up with work. I think it would be great if you contributed to AiBURN. I really like your blog. Also, any advice you have is great. You've been doing tutorials alot longer than I have.

Right now with guest posting I have to get creative with compensation. There isn't any revenue for the site right now. We could do something like trade tutorials. I could write a guest post for your blog and you could write a guest post for AiBURN. Let me know what you think.

Once I have some contributing authors I want to make an Author page where you can put links and some bio info.

Drupal is cool. I've been working with it for a little over a year now. I do want to learn Wordpress also though. Thanks for checking out the series.

What a cool screen name. Yah there aren't nearly as many Illustrator resources as there are Photoshop. After working on AiBURN for the last few months I have been finding that there are more than I though though. I'm working on putting together what I find on a resources page http://aiburn.com/resources

If anyone knows of any other good Illustrator resources that I should add to the resource page please let me know.

I love Illustrator too. Maybe one day I'll love Photoshop just as much. I've just been so into making logos and I just love working with vector. Psdtuts.com is really inspirational though for making me want to learn more photoshop. Let me know if there are any specific tutorials or even some topics that you would like to see covered on AiBURN. Thanks.

Chris,

I think AiBURN right now is really focused on helping out beggining designers. Or designers in school just learning Illustrator. I am developing some more advanced tutorials as well. The last tutorial on drawing your self portrait in Illustrator was a little more advanced. But I plan on continually offering Beginner level tutorials as well. It should help with the learning curve of the program alot. This week I'll be releasing a tutorial on designing a shield. Thanks.

Really great site Sean! I have formed a recent obsession with Illustrator so it's great to see a website dedicated to it WITH TUTORIALS!!! I look forward to reading all your new stuff!
