nice! doing their purpose

only thing that bugs me with the second one is the white stroke around the red text at the bottom. I don't think it has to be there, and it cheapens the design a bit. Also think about the colour-palette, the contrasted red and white doesn't go well with the colour of the "Classic"-bit. Also it's a good thing you didn't position the picture used as fill for CLASSIC a bit more right (oh the lousy humour). It least now it highlights "LAS", could be worse ;D

I would also suggest the Lynda.com website. Everything on the website is very helpful and useful. The video tutorials are great when you're trying to figure out how to do something in a crunch. I would also recommend her books.

Lynda.com is worth it's weight in gold as long as you use it. If you would only use it one or twice a month for it's probably not worth the money.

Default Lynda.com

I had a subscription to Lynda.com for a few months while I was getting into Dreamweaver--completely worth the $25-a-month if you're picking up some new skills in a new application. Run into a situation you don't understand? Check a few tutorials. Forgot what you learned? Check back again. It's great!

And a nice bi-product was that since it was full access, I got to find some gems about other programs that I wouldn't have thought to ask about, let alone try.

I would suggest Lynda.com for a few months when you've got some downtime . . . you'll learn much more than $25. WELL worth it.
