cool

do you do it for fun or part of a group because i know in some parts of the US there are groups which go and do graphitti on ugly walls and such to make the environment more friendly.

Amazing stuff! Working in a large format is insanely difficult--I can't imagine working that large! Is it just something you get a feel for after a while, or do you plan where elements are going to go in advance (like a rough outline)?

Thanks! Yeah it is difficult in the beginning to get the proportions right. But you get a feel for it after a while. Also it makes it easier if you take a step back once in a while to get an overview. I always work from a hand drawn sketch and if you're doing a legal production with a few other people you'd plan everything on paper first, like colors, where the pieces are going to be, how big, etc etc. People who do trains and other illegal stuff don't really use sketches as you don't have time for that and it's mostly more simple letter styles so they'd do it "freestyle".

@ chris:

Yeah I'm part of a group or "crew" which is the more used term in graffitti. It's just a bunch of people who likes painting together.
