Good start. I would recommend trying to stay away from filters and layer styles as much as you can and just focus on basic typography such as typeface choice, size variations, placement and colors.

I agree with Gino. Try to minimize the use of effects. The first one doesn't say global talk to me but gangster rap or something like that.
The second one kind of works but try to tone down the bevel/shadow a bit or try with completely flat text. Also I'd loose the drop shadow on the URL and maybe make it white or light grey? I like the graphics on the sides though and with the right typography it could be a great design.

Ty guys i really appreciate your responses. About the first one it should look something like that but i thought it was to gangsta stile, with your answer now i'm confident that is too much
. And about the second one i will take care to see what will i get with some combinations. |

I like them both, but they still need a lot of work. The top one seems too glossy for me as well.
Keep up the good work, ~chris |

I think its pretty nice, though I think, if you want more advanced effects (like highlights and stuff), you should do them manually instead of using layer styles and stuff. Those are best for pretty simple thing like fx gradients.

That's really good. I'm not sure about the light source underneath the image though. If it is hanging on a wall should there be light underneath? I suck at light/shadow though, so don't take my word for it
. Again I think you should work a bit more on the typography. The font you used for "gallery and exchange office" doesn't really go with the "luna start" font. Maybe something more classic would work better?
