Looks pretty good I like the top left the best. The photo of the band looks a little blurry maybe its just me, I'm also not totally sold on the font used for fall out boy. Other then that I think its pretty well done!

I like it a lot. Was it a happy accident that "TCM" is the same color as the main foreground element? And "COLLEGE" the same as the sky/building background? I really like this kind of repetition/reinforcement, so kudos if it was intentional.

The high-contrast/posterized look of the photo works well in this case (given Fall Out Boy's other branding--usually quirky).

My one suggestion from a communication standpoint would be to make the main headline really stand out--when I glance at this (which is all you can really count on if it's on a shelf filled with other mag covers), I don't really feel what it's about. Gino's right, I think, about using a different font.

Great job, overall. What exactly is The College Magazine? Audience? Distribution (shelves vs. mailed)? Regional vs. National?

hey cheers for the feedback. the mag is a student mag which gets mailed to homes of the students and is available on campus. we did reveiws of their album at the time, and had to get their permission to use an image. the one they sent was that one.. at first i didnt think it was all that blurry, but ye it is apparent. and ye the colour co-ordination is meant. im soooooooo into colour coordination its unreal. umm ye the font could be improved. this was used as the cover so i cant change it.. but i will take this into consideration when doing more..
