I love the illustration but I'm not sure about the typography. Maybe try another font and place the text differently?

Urm, it's all nice vector, but I just don't "feel it"
(oh, and by the way I'm probably gonna be widely hated for my critiques aren't I?)
It just lacks SOMETHING that gives a feel of the saying, I'm not feeling "alone" - I'm not feeling "drinking" - I'm feeling a vector-sun, a vector-beer and a vector-tableish thing. Some questions then, for you and me:

-What do you want to communicate with this?
-What choices did you make to communicate this?
-Why have you chosen the font you've used?

I suspect this isn't something you've thought properly through, but if you think about this and, if you want, make some changes it'll probably be a good exercise. And as you've put it in this section I guess you do want feedback =)

edit: darn!! This was in the showcase-phorum. Ohwell, if this is something you made just to pass time, and don't bother fixing/reflecting upon then ignore my post

you dident feel much alyCe :P
I do appreciate your feed back, I was really just wanted to make some kind of illustration to the saying. I tried to do this illustration some years ago, but it didnt turn out as well as I wanted.
I get what you are saying about the not feeling it, sometimes you just dont but I appreciate that you gave reasons for it.
I can see that your not feeling alone when you are looking at it.
I did this design just because I had some extra time on my hand. it's not a school assiment,
and no I havent thought much over the typo, just kinda liked it.
but as you said it's a good exercise, and if I got some time on my hand I will try and make some changes and will see.
No hard feelings

peace

humm.... erm... YES!
It is 1,000,000,000,000 times better, it's great now, unlike the first, now I do feel it, I feel the contrast between the neon sign and the writings on the wall.... its great!! Still some nitpicking technical things like his hand looks a bit wierd, but honestly, I don't care. That is an amazing transition from the first to the second

You make me so proud
