I like the first one too. You've given your client a very tough choice to choose. I guess a more conservative client will take the second one.

the first one is the tops. the header and the background are nicely blended, but still individual aspects of the page.

I like the background of the one up top but the IA of the lower one a bit more. Like the register button being easily accessible.

i like them both. really hard to choose.
but if i was pushed....... the top one, although the register now button is clearer on the second one. well done.

Agreed!
It's a great blend of elements, would be a shame to lose out to conservative design. The second may be slightly more functional in its layout, but the first would look more impressive in your personal portfolio gino ![]() |

I'd vote for the first one, it's far less generic and stands out far more than the second
