Back during March, I was given the task to design a brochure for a community college's women's history month celebration. Here's what came of it:
![]() ![]() (excuse the pixelated typography -- inDesign won't jpeg that file correctly) Anyway, the inspiration for this was from the work of people like http://www.neilduerden.co.uk/ It felt appropriate because it gives off a very feminine empowerment look. I think I added enough to the style to make it my own, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. That said, any comments/critiques would be appreciated. |

Looks great! Where is that logo form i feel like ive seen those symbols before...

Very possible that it's been used in a number of places. That shape is used on a lot of web 2.0 sites and its a symbol you'll see often used in standard vector art.
It just seemed to fit the feeling of this particular project. |

This looks really nice and the colors really flow well. As you pointed out, the logo aspect looks pixelated but i am Sure you will get that fixed up! ~chris |
