Default Brochure

Back during March, I was given the task to design a brochure for a community college's women's history month celebration. Here's what came of it:

(excuse the pixelated typography -- inDesign won't jpeg that file correctly)

Anyway, the inspiration for this was from the work of people like http://www.neilduerden.co.uk/
It felt appropriate because it gives off a very feminine empowerment look. I think I added enough to the style to make it my own, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

That said, any comments/critiques would be appreciated.

Very possible that it's been used in a number of places. That shape is used on a lot of web 2.0 sites and its a symbol you'll see often used in standard vector art.
It just seemed to fit the feeling of this particular project.

This looks really nice and the colors really flow well.
