Default LightBulb Ad

I designed this in Photoshop CS3. It's only about four layers (bulb, tree, roots, text). The tree was though to mask out of the original background.. let me tell ya!

Well done again. Still enjoy the simplicity, and that it gets the message accross easily. One thing though, is try extending the gradient between the tree and the bub edge to go around the whole bulb. if your confused...let me know

Simple but cool looking. I like the way the roots come out of the bottom.

Keep up the good work man! And thanks for posting a lot to get some activity/discussion going. always appreciated !

I think I know exactly what you're saying. Basically, to make it more realistic looking, as light bulbs are never completely transparent, correct? I might actually add a simple radial gradient in the top left expanding all the way around, as you said, but then turn down the opacity of that quite a bit. I will repost it soon when I get some time.

Thanks for the advice!

Thanks, Chris! Although this doesn't seem like an extremely large community of designers, the feedback is super fast and very useful! Glad to join you guys here!
