Good afternoon!

My name is Mike. I work for a non-profit in Central New York as the one and only marketing & communications guy. I get to wear many hats, including graphics designer. I was never a designer before (my BA was in history & language!), but after having to do it for years and have an eye for what I like - I've picked up a lot.

I really appreciate a community like this - I wish I had found something along this lines when I first started having to do design three years ago. Since I'm self-taught, I have a lot to learn and hope some people here are willing to share critique, criticism, suggestions and tips. I'm open to it all (because I need it!).

I use Adobe Creative Suite 2 here at work. While I work on everything (our website, print publications, social media, applied stuff like apparel and promotional products, etc.), the biggest portion of my work is print media. I design, photograph for, write, edit and produce dozens of publications, periodicals, fliers and brochures, mailings, etc.

I look forward to sharing some of the stuff I'm working on! Thanks again in advance for any help!
